Alex Rodriguez今天(14日)完成生涯2000打點的重大里程碑，成為自Hank Aaron之後，大聯盟史上第2人。
賽前累計1999打點，A-Rod今天在第6局扛出2分砲，生涯打點數正式跨越2000大關，來到2001分打點。
A-Rod成為Hank Aaron(2297打點)之後，大聯盟史上第2位2000打點的選手；但大聯盟從1920年才開始計算打點，根據baseball-reference.com追溯成績統計，Babe Ruth(2214)、Cap Anson(2075)也都有2000打點的成就。
另外A-Rod生涯也累計666轟史上第4名，落後給Barry Bonds(762)、Hank Aaron(755)跟Babe Ruth(714)，今天的比賽洋基4比9輸給金鶯。
